Abstract
This study examines the legal protection against the criminal offense of sexual violence from a criminological perspective. Analyses were conducted into the role of the legal system in preventing and tackling sexual violence, focusing on criminological aspects such as offender profiles, risk factors, and psychological impacts of victims. Through a criminological approach, the study addresses the effectiveness of existing legal instruments in dealing with sexual violence cases, as well as the challenges and improvements that may be required. The results provide insight into the need to refine the legal framework, strengthen early detection, and increase support for victims as sexual violence prevention and handling efforts. Its criminological implications could aid the development of more holistic and sustainable legal policies to protect communities from the threat of sexual violence. ABSTRACT This research highlights the importance of understanding criminology in looking at sexual violence cases and exploring more effective legal strategies. It is necessary to improve early detection, victim support, and policy adjustments to create a safer and more empowered environment.
