EVALUASI PENGAWASAN BADAN PENGAWAS PEMILIHAN UMUM (BAWASLU) DALAM MENGOPTIMALKAN PARTISIPATIF MASYARAKAT PADA PEMILIHAN KEPALA DAERAH KABUPATEN NIAS TAHUN 2024

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) optimizes public participation in the 2024 Nias Regency Regional Head Election and to evaluate the extent of Bawaslu's role and efforts in increasing public participation in oversight. This study used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that Bawaslu Nias Regency has implemented various programs to increase public participation, such as outreach, participatory oversight education, citizen forums, and the use of social media and digital technology.
